Secular Humanist Meditation Group

Meets Sundays: 12:45-2:00 in the afternoon

This group, affiliated with the Chattanooga Humanist Assembly, serves as a gathering opportunity for persons, who value both meditation and positive secular humanist ideals. Each meeting begins and concludes with periods of quiet sitting meditation serving as book-ends for discussion and/or readings on mindfulness topics free from religious or supernatural beliefs. Discussions are peer-based without an identified leader, but are facilitated by group coordinators.

The group meets weekly primarily Zoom format. Zoom meetings will be supplemented by occasional in-person meetings for vaccinated individuals.
